Welcome aboard the wiki of the Science and Society Club at Fr. Michael Goetz SS. This club focuses on the impacts that the symbiotic communities of science and the corporate world have on everyday life, and, therefore, critically analyzes the actions of corporations, governments, and scientists.
SSO WH5T is also focused on improving the quality of life for all people, and for this reason, it has joined with the school's Amnesty International group and made recycling and sponsoring a child key issues of the club. We are, for example, trying to find an organization that will freely take our used textbooks to places that cannot afford textbooks.
You can learn more about us by clicking on the icons or the links to the left on the navigation box. SSO WH5T is truly student driven, and they do a great job! The teachers act only as coordinators of discussions. The club meets Wednesday afternoons at 3:00 P.M. in Room 235. All new, dedicated members are invited.

I think we should delete a bunch of the old pages and group ones that are related all onto one page w/ subpages if necessary. Is wetpaint blocked on our school computers? If not, I say we should have one meeting in the computer lab!

i see that you guys are still going on with the fast food things... we started that back in late 05, early 06 after our big MSG and H2O projects... i checked out the new board about the Canadian Mining (kinda looks boring compared to our old super attractive ones ;) )... nice bit of info on there!...
